J.T. Barrett was smooth, going 26-for-38 for 290 yards and four touchdowns. The defense came up big as well, as defensive backs Damon Webb and Malik Hooker each had a pick-six.<\/p>\n<p>Against the horrid Terrapins defense this coming week, they\u00a0should have no problems producing numbers similar to their averages. The Buckeyes are sixth in the nation in scoring\u00a0and 16th in total offense with 44.8 points and 503.6 yards per game, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Barrett is doing well orchestrating\u00a0the offense, passing for 21 touchdowns with only four picks. The team&#8217;s pass-catching back, Curtis Samuel, has been all over the field this season, accumulating 600-plus receiving and rushing yards.<\/p>\n<p>On defense, they&#8217;re just as good. They are only giving up\u00a013.8 points and 284.3 total yards per contest, while only allowing opposing QBs to complete 45 percent of their passes. Their secondary is quite possibly the best in the country right now.<\/p>\n<p>The Buckeyes are 18-2 SU (12-8 ATS) in their last 20 games on the road.<\/p>\n<h3>Betting on the Maryland Terrapins (<a href=\"http:\/\/topbet.eu\/sportsbook\/football\/ncaa\">+28.5<\/a>)<\/h3>\n<p>The Terrapins will be without quarterback Perry Hills for Saturday&#8217;s matchup\u00a0(shoulder). The senior will once again be replaced by Caleb Rowe, who also stepped in last week when Hills wasn&#8217;t able to return. Rowe went 12-of-23 for 203 yards and two interceptions.<\/p>\n<p>Rowe, who has\u00a0limited experience as a starter, is bound to have headaches with Ohio State&#8217;s top-notch defense. Expect him to have multiple checkdowns with backs Ty Johnson and Lorenzo Harrison. The two have been splitting rushing duties all season, combining for 140.8 yards per game on eight yards per carry, along with nine touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>The QB, though, has a decent\u00a0set of wideouts to go to. Three of the team&#8217;s receivers currently have 30 or more receptions, but sophomore DJ Moore is showing that he&#8217;s the most reliable, as he leads the team in receiving yards (466) and receiving touchdowns (5).<\/p>\n<p>As for the defense, it&#8217;s been dreadful in the past two games, giving up an unbelievable 101 points and 1,310 total yards. It was way over the 27.2 points and 430.2 yards per game they have allowed prior. Junior linebacker Jesse Aniebonam, who also plays snaps as a defensive lineman, has emerged as the D&#8217;s most productive player, leading the team in sacks (5.5) and tackles for loss (9.5).<\/p>\n<p>Maryland is 4-6 SU (5-5 ATS) in its last 10 games at home.<\/p>\n<h3>Writer\u2019s Prediction<\/h3>\n<p>THE Ohio State University\u00a0wins (<a
