The Caps needed overtime to win their bout in early\u00a0January, 6-5, before coming away with a more convincing 4-1 win on April 4\u00a0to snap the Leafs&#8217; four-game win streak\u00a0and temporarily deny them a long-awaited playoff berth during\u00a0that point.<\/p>\n<h3>Why the Maple Leafs\u00a0Will Win the Series (<a href=\"http:\/\/topbet.eu\/sportsbook\/hockey\/2017-nhl-playoff-series-prices\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>+260<\/strong><\/a>)<\/h3>\n<p>In large part due to the emergence of this season&#8217;s surefire Calder Trophy winner, Auston Matthews, Toronto is back in the postseason for just the second time in 12 years.
