Harden\u2019s ball-handling must also improve, as he turned the ball over nine times, some occurring in overtime.<\/p>\n<p>Also needing to recover is Eric Gordon, who finished Game 5 with 11 points, going just 1-for-6 from three-point land.<\/p>\n<p>Houston had a short rotation in Game 5, as only seven Rockets saw action. They outrebounded Houston, 65-58. The dominance was clearer when isolating offensive boards with the Spurs collaring 18 against Houston\u2019s nine. The absence of Nene Hilario for the Rockets has made life easier for LaMarcus Aldridge, who had 18 points and 14 rebounds in Game 5. Kawhi Leonard had 22 points and 15 points.<\/p>\n<p>Leonard, however, is in danger of missing Game 6 with an ankle injury. Leonard might force to play Thursday given the importance of the contest but should he miss it, the Spurs will be asking more from the likes of Patty Mills and Jonathon Simmons. Mills had 20 points in Game 5, while Simmons had 12 off the bench. Simmons is likely going to be Harden\u2019s primary defender in case Leonard fails to suit up in Game 6.<\/p>\n<p>The Spurs are 4-2 ATS in their last six home games.<\/p>\n<h3>Writer\u2019s
