Meanwhile, their defensive front couldn\u2019t contain the Tigers\u2019 rushing attack, which put up 238 yards on the ground. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even with an extra week off to prepare, that disappointing showing doesn\u2019t bode well for Georgia State\u2019s visit to State College. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With their defense unlikely to keep Penn State\u2019s explosive offense quiet for long, their offense will need markedly better performances from quarterbacks Conner Manning and Aaron Winchester as well as the running game, which could only muster a pitiful 49 yards from 29 carries. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After struggling that badly, it\u2019s highly optimistic to expect that offense to take a significant step up against a significantly better opponent.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Betting on the Penn State Nittany Lions (2-0)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/topbet.eu\/sportsbook\/football\/ncaa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Point Spread: -38.5<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No. 5 Penn State is up to 2-0 on the season after convincing wins over Akron and Pitt. Their 33-14 win over their state rivals was especially impressive. Trace McSorley didn\u2019t have his best game, as he finished just 15-of-28 for 164 yards and three touchdowns, but Saquon Barkley was on hand to bail him out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Barkley, who is now a +800 Heisman candidate, had 133 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns to pace the Nittany Lions. After seeing how hard it was for Georgia State to stop the run, look for Barkley to go off for another impressive game. Meanwhile, McSorley will be eager to bounce back from his disappointing showing and should be significantly better against an inferior opponent at home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Penn State defense also impressed against Pitt. The unit held strong despite spending nearly 40 minutes on the field. They held Pitt to just 5-of-17 on third downs and forced three turnovers. They could very easily come up with another dominant night based on how anemic the Georgia State offense looked in their opener.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Writer\u2019s Prediction<\/h3>\n<p>Penn State (<a
