They would be eliminated with a loss Wednesday, or a win by the Twins.<\/p>\n<p>Starting for LA in tonight&#8217;s must-win ballgame is Garrett Richards (0-2, 1.50 ERA). He was solid in his last start against the Houston Astros, allowing just one hit in six scoreless innings.\u00a0\u00a0The Angels couldn\u2019t turn Richards&#8217; strong showing into a victory, however, as they suffered a gut-wrenching 3-0 loss.\u00a0The 29-year-old right-hander has now surrendered just four runs over 19.1 innings through four starts since returning from a five-month stint on the disabled list. Richards\u00a0has not allowed more than two earned runs in a start since his return on September 5.<\/p>\n<p>As fabulous as Richards has been this season, he can\u2019t do it all by himself.\u00a0Expected to lead the Angels offense in this contest is the red-hot Mike Trout. The center fielder hit his second homer in two games with a long three-run drive against Chris Volstad. Trout now has 31 home runs this season, the fourth time in his career that he has reached the coveted 30-homer plateau.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Betting on the Chicago White Sox (64-93)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/topbet.eu\/sportsbook\/baseball\/mlb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Moneyline: +165<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pitching for the White Sox in the third game of this four-game set is Reynaldo Lopez (3-3, 4.54 ERA). The Dominican Republic star\u00a0has been solid over his past four starts, posting a 3.55 ERA in 25.1 innings. The White Sox have benefited from Lopez&#8217;s resurgence, going 3-1 during that said four-game stretch. Lopez will look for a much better performance, though, to the one he dished out on Friday when he allowed six runs and 10 hits to the Kansas City Royals.<\/p>\n<p>Lopez can\u2019t do it all alone, though, and he needs the White Sox hitters to contribute on the offensive end as well. Expected to lead Chicago in that department is Jose Abreu. He\u00a0leads the White Sox not only in home runs but also in RBIs and hits this campaign.\u00a0Abreu had three hits for Chicago on Tuesday, including his 32nd and 33rd homers. Abreu will be licking his chops at the prospect of facing Garrett Richards as he is batting .444 (4-of-9) in his career against the Angels starter with a homer and four
