The Terrapins led the Wildcats 7-0 early in the game, slipped a bit, but kept things close into the fourth quarter, trailing just 27-21 but could not capitalize against the spread as three-point dogs. \u00a0Playing with\u00a0third-string QB, sophomore Max Bortenschlager, Maryland still feels confident, given Mad Max’s win over the Gophers in Minneapolis and his relatively strong performance in Week 7 where he threw for 255 yards and three TDs sans an interception. Look for Bortenschlager to be instrumental in putting together another three touchdowns again this Saturday, which could Maryland cashing in ATS.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Betting on the\u00a0Wisconsin Badgers\u00a06-0 (-24)<\/span><\/h3>\n

Wisconsin extended their undefeated record to 6-0 in Week 7 as they took a 17-9 win over Purdue. The Badgers took an early 7-0 lead on a Jonathan Taylor 67-yard touchdown, logged a buffer to 17-3 soon after and took their foot off the offensive gas but maintained the defense enough to abate Purdue in the red zone with a pick-off. They then ensured their offense ran out the last eight minutes to secure the victory, even if not extending upon their lead to cover the 17-point spread.<\/p>\n

Wisconsin outgained Purdue by a total of 498-221, outrushed them 295-66 and won time of possession by a 39-21 split. However, the Badgers gave up three turnovers inside Boilermaker territory, fumbled from Purdue’s 5-yard line, and even had a punt blocked. Regardless, their defense (ranked sixth in the country) can hold the best of them in the end zone all day long.<\/p>\n

The Badgers have outgained and out rushed every single one of their opponents in the 2017 season.<\/p><\/div>\n
