Eli Manning was again atrocious under center, producing 281 yards on 24-of-43 completions with zero interceptions and had an interception. The only legitimately functioning member of the Giants in that game was running back Saquon Barkley, who led his team in rushing yards with 130 to go with a touchdown and in receiving yards with 99 on nine receptions. Outside of Barkley, the Giants\u2019 offense will have to wake up and that could happen this Sunday against the Falcons\u2019 generous defense that\u2019s 30<\/span>th<\/span> in the league with 417.5 total yards allowed per game. For all their issues, the Giants, with Barkley and Odell Beckham Jr., should be able to find a way to carve up that pathetic Atlanta stop unit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Betting on the Atlanta Falcons (2-4)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Great offense and bad defense? Why don\u2019t the Falcons just add Atlanta Hawks rookie Trae Young to their roster? As mentioned earlier, the Falcons doesn\u2019t seem capable of slowing down opposing attacks. However, they can deal serious damage to their opponents on the other end of field. The Falcons are ninth in the NFL in scoring with 27.8 points per game. Behind that attack is the arm of quarterback Matt Ryan, who went 31-of-41 and finished with 355 passing yards and three touchdowns with zero picks thrown in a 34-29 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home in Week 6. Although the Falcons have placed running back Devonta Freeman on the injured reserve, Atlanta still have Tevin Coleman and rookie Ito Smith to power Atlanta\u2019s backfield against the Giants\u2019 run defense that\u2019s just 25<\/span>th<\/span> overall with 121.7 rushing yards surrendered per contest.<\/span><\/p>\n
