In other words, they are rounding into form just in time for the SEC Tournament and a rematch with the Gators, against whom they picked up a 57-51 home loss on Jan. 9. The loss to Florida, however, didn\u2019t take away any shine from the performance of Mason Jones, who scored 30 points in that game, while Daniel Gafford had nine points and 12 rebounds. Gafford leads the team in points (17.0) and boards (8.7) this season. Arkansas has tightened up its defense, allowing nine fewer points (63.7) in their last three games than on the season (72.8).<\/span><\/p>\n

Still, Florida can\u2019t be taken lightly by any team in the tournament. For one, the Gators\u2019 defense can give a ton of headaches. The Gators are 16<\/span>th<\/span> in the nation with just 63.7 points allowed per game. Teams are shooting just 42.2 percent from the field against Florida, which is also fifth in the SEC with 7.4 steals per game. Florida held the Razorbacks to only 30.0 percent shooting from the field while forcing Arkansas to pick up 16 turnovers. KeVaughn Allen, Florida\u2019s best player, scored 18 points in the Arkansas game.<\/span><\/p>\n
