Betting on the Maryland Terrapins (3-6 Overall \/ 1-5 Conference)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Terps suffered their fourth loss in a row in conference play over the weekend, as they got smothered by the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor, 38-7. Maryland is in a tough stretch, having faced ranked opponents in its last two games and will face another this coming Saturday in Columbus. The main problem for the Terrapins right now is their offense that has put up just 45 points over their last three games. If not for a meeting with the Rutger Scarlet Knights, who are on a completely different level of atrociousness, the Terps would have been winless in Big Ten play up to this point. However, Maryland\u2019s defense has some punch in it. Although they weren\u2019t able to see Michigan cough up the ball last Saturday, the Terrapins had forced at least a turnovers in each of the previous 20 games.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Terrapins, who are averaging 23.4 points and 354.6 total yards per contest, have seen the total go over in three of their last four games.<\/span><\/p>\n

Betting on the Ohio State Buckeyes (8-0 Overall \/ 5-0 Conference)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Buckeyes keep on marching on. In their last game, they defeated the No. 13 Wisconsin Badgers at home, 38-7. The Badgers once had arguably the best defense in the nation this season, and though Wisconsin\u2019s stop unit hasn\u2019t been up to its early-season benchmark of late, Ohio State scoring that many points against it only adds proof to how explosive the Buckeyes\u2019 offense is. Running back J. K. Dobbins torched the Badgers for 163 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries, while quarterback Justin Fields passed for 167 yards and a pair of scores, while completing 12 of 22 passes. The Buckeyes\u2019 win over Wisconsin has quieted their critics, who question the general quality of Ohio State\u2019s opponents. Having passed Wisconsin\u2019s test, the Buckeyes look very good in picking up a win against the limping Terrapins, though, Ohio State can\u2019t afford to be too confident.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Buckeyes are second in the nation with 48.2 points per game and are 7-0\u00a0<\/span>against the spread (ATS)\u00a0<\/span>in their last seven outings.<\/span><\/p>\n
