Oklahoma\u2019s offense is so much reliant on Hurts, and time and time again, he has proven he is up to the task, so there should be little doubt he can lead Oklahoma\u2019s offense that is sixth in the nation with 42.8 points per game and have success against Oklahoma State\u2019s defense that entered Week 14 having the third-worst passing defense in the Big 12.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Oklahoma State\u2019s 20-13 road in Morgantown over the West Virginia Mountaineers, Hubbard led the backfield with 106 rushing yards on 26 carries. He also led the team with 88 receiving yards on just seven catches. Hubbard can make plays rushing or receiving, and it\u2019s not such a far-fetched expectation that he\u2019s going to deal damage on the Sooners\u2019 defense that just allowed 5.8 rushing yards per carry to the Horned Frogs. Hubbard leads the nation in rushing, entering Week 13 with 1,726 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns while averaging 172.6 rushing yards per contest. Oklahoma State isn\u2019t a shabby offensive team, as the Cowboys are putting up 32.9 points per game and are 13th nationally with an average of 465.8 total yards per contest.<\/span><\/p>\n
