To cap off their schedule of the regular season, the Bulldogs battered the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on the road last Saturday, 52-7.\u00a0 Quarterback Jake Fromm was in full control of the Bulldogs\u2019 offense, as he went 14 for 29 for 254 passing yards and four touchdowns with zero interceptions thrown. Running back \u2018Andre Swift led the team with 73 rushing yards on 10 carries but could\u2019ve added more if he wasn\u2019t forced to exit prematurely from of the game due to a shoulder injury. That injury will be a main concern for Georgia heading into the SEC title game, but at least the Bulldogs still have Bruan Herrien and Zamir White. Herrien is second on the team in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns, while White is an efficient backfield weapon with an average of 5.7 yards per carry prior to the Yellow Jackets game. The Bulldogs will also be missing top wideout George Pickens for the first half of the SEC Championship Game due to his involvement in a fight that happened in the meeting with Georgia Tech.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bulldogs, who entered last Saturday\u2019s game with the best scoring defense in the nation (10.1 points allowed per contest), are 4-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last five games.<\/span><\/p>\n

Betting on the LSU Tigers (12-0 Overall \/ 8-0 Conference)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Joe Burrow added to his Heisman Trophy candidacy with another exceptional performance. This time, by throwing for 352 passing yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions while completing 23 of 32 pass attempts in an easy 50-7 win in Baton Rouge over the Texas A&M Aggies. The Tigers\u2019 offense was always going to be a problem for the Aggies, with Burrow at the helm. The Tigers entered that contest second in the nation with an average of 46.9 points per game and also second in total offense with 556.4 total yards per game. Driving the offense downfield won\u2019t come as easy against Georgia\u2019s elite defense, but Burrow has proven he can lead the Tigers into thwarting stout stop units. He was at the helm of the Tigers\u2019 attack when they dropped 42 points on the Florida Gators back in October and 46 on the Alabama Crimson Tide last November.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
