Betting on the Ohio State Buckeyes (12-0 Overall \/ 9-0 Conference)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There was no stopping the Buckeyes from finishing the regular season with an unscathed record. They made sure of that by topping the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor last Saturday, 56-27. The Buckeyes were expected to sweat it out in that game, given the location and the form of the Wolverines going into the matchup, but Justin Fields and company turned out to be simply too much for Michigan. Fields was in his bag again, throwing for 302 passing yards and four touchdowns with zero interceptions on 14-of-25 completions. Running back J.K. Dobbins added four rushing touchdowns and 211 rushing yards on 31 carries. The dynamic duo of Fields and Dobbins has been a headache for Buckeyes opponents, with no one finding a cure to it. That includes the Badgers, who saw Fields and Dobbins combine for four touchdowns in the Buckeyes\u2019 dominant 38-7 home win over Wisconsin in a late-October meeting. The Buckeyes have the best offense in the nation and a defense that\u2019s just almost as good. They entered Rivalry Week tops averaging 49.4 points and giving up just 10.5 per contest.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Buckeyes are 8-2 against the spread (ATS) in their last 10 games overall.<\/span><\/p>\n

Betting on the Wisconsin Badgers (10-2 Overall \/ 7-2 Conference)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After their lopsided loss to the Buckeyes in October, the Badgers surely wanted another crack at Ohio State. They get that wish following a 38-17 win on the road over the Minnesota Golden Gophers last Saturday. Jack Coan went 15 for 22 for 280 passing yards and a couple of touchdowns with no turnovers. The backfield, meanwhile, put up 173 rushing yards and three touchdowns, with Jonathan Taylor leading the group with 76 rushing yards and a couple of scores on the ground on 18 carries. Coan and Taylor struggled mightily in the loss to Ohio State, with the quarterback committing two fumbles and the running back averaging just 2.6 yards per carry (52 rushing yards on 20 carries). Ohio State\u2019s defense can do that to any team, but as key pieces of the Badgers, Coan and Taylor need to be better protected and blocked by the team\u2019s offensive line. (Coan was sacked five times in the Ohio State game.) The Badgers\u2019 defense can\u2019t be underrated, too, as it has surely learned some lesson from that loss to the Buckeyes. The Badgers, who entered Week 14 with just 14.4 points allowed per game, have seen the total go over in their last four contests.<\/span><\/p>\n
