Josh Allen passed for 312 yards on 33-of-46 completions and had two passing touchdowns with no picks thrown in the Bills\u2019 27-17 home win over the New York Jets in Week 1. Despite his big passing yardage, he managed to get things done on the ground just like in 2019, as he rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Although his focus is on passing the ball more this season, as he\u2019s got better receiving weapons, he could be tempted to run again in Week 2 against Miami\u2019s defense that got burned on the ground by Cam Newton and company last Sunday. Newton rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns against Miami. As a team, the New England Patriots had 217 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 42 carries. It should also be a chance for Devin Singletary and Zack Moss to redeem themselves after the two running backs gathered just 41 total rushing yards on 18 carries in Week 1. Miami\u2019s defense should be kept honest by the presence of Stefon Diggs, who had 86 receiving yards on eight catches in his Bills debut.<\/span><\/p>\n

Miami is not expected to contend for anything this season, and it showed right away, as they lost to the Patriots last Sunday, 21-11. Ryan Fitzpatrick passed for 191 yards on 20-of-30 completions while getting picked three times. The Dolphins were simply bad on both ends of the ball against New England, finishing with just 269 total yards, while giving up 357 to the Patriots. The Dolphins\u2019 offense got worse when wide receiver DeVante Parker left the Pats game in the third quarter after hurting his hamstring. Before he exited, Parker caught all four targets and finished with 47 yards. Hopefully for Miami, Parker will be able to heal up from the injury in time to face Buffalo. If not, Fitzpatrick will be looking more to get more targets to Preston Williams and Mike Gesicki, who had 41 and 30 receiving yards, respectively, in Week 1. But Fitzpatrick might have to feed the ball more to the backfield, especially with all the picks he threw in Week 1.<\/span><\/p>\n
