During the Copa America tournament, it was Cristiane who led the team in scoring with six goals in place of then-injured Marta. Look for the duo to push the tempo with Brazil\u2019s fast-paced offense.<\/p>\n

Brazil was not just the best-scoring team at last year\u2019s Copa America with their 22 goals, but it was also the best defensive team with just three goals conceded in the entire tournament. With the offense and defense clicking, Brazil is the clear-cut favorite in their group right now.<\/p>\n

Ji is a member of England\u2019s Chelsea L.F.C., and winner of the 2015 PFA Women\u2019s Player\u2019s Player of the Year award. She’s the team’s leading scorer with 38 goals in 74 caps.<\/p>\n

The Taeguk Ladies have to be motivated by the last match they played before heading into the World Cup. They played a friendly \u201ctune-up\u201d match just this past May 30th<\/sup> against the United States that went to a draw.
