Recap: The AFC got an early 10-to-0 lead over the NFC in the first quarter of the 1977 Pro Bowl and never gave it up in a 24-to-14 victory led by Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Mel Blount, who was named the game’s MVP. Blount had two key interceptions in the fourth quarter when the NFC threatened for a touchdown and was trailing by just three points.
