Recap: A low-scoring first half set-up an exciting finish to the 1982 Pro Bowl as the AFC eked out a 16-to-13 victory over the NFC. With the game tied at 13-apiece, San Diego Chargers quarterback Dan Fout marched the AFC 69 yards to set up a 23 yard field goal attempt from the Kansas City’s Nick Lowery, who easily made the game-winner. Fout’s teammate, tight end Kellen Winslow was named the MVP along with Lee Roy Selmon, defensive end from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
