Recap: In the 1984 Pro Bowl, the NFC not only dominated on offense but on defense as well. The NFC led 17-to-3 at halftime and added some more in the second half for a 45-to-3 drubbing of the AFC. It was the first time in Pro Bowl history that a team produced a lone field goal and the 42-point win is still the biggest margin of victory in any Pro Bowl game. Washington Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann was named the MVP of the game completing 21-of-27 passes for 242 yards and 3 touchdowns.
