Recap: In 1993, the Pro Bowl game went to overtime for the first time in its history. With 10 seconds left in regulation and the score at 20-to-13 in favor of the AFC, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Steve Young found New York’s Rodney Hampton for a 23-yard touchdown to tie the game and force the extra period. In overtime, however, Young was tackled then fumbled to set up a 33-yard field goal for the AFC. Kansas City’s Nick Lowery was good in the attempt to give the AFC the 23-to-20 overtime victory. Steve Tasker from the Buffalo Bills was named the game’s MVP.
