Recap: After losing in the Super Bowl earlier in the year, Arizona wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald made sure he’d win the 2009 Pro Bowl and a Pro Bowl MVP award to boot.  The NFC defeated the AFC, 30-to-21 led by Fitzgerald’s 5 receptions with 2 touchdowns. The first TD came in the first half when the NFC trailed 10-to-14 at the break. The second TD happened early in the payoff period as the NFC got the lead for good on their way to the victory. New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning made his Pro Bowl debut and had 111 yards on 8-of-14 passes with a touchdown and an interception while New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees had 142 yards on 11-of-19 passes with a touchdown.
