Recap: In Super Bowl XL, The Green Bay Packers were looking for their fourth title in five trips while the Pittsburgh Steelers were looking for their 7th in eight trips. It was the Packers who started the game on fire leading 14-to-0 after the first quarter and 21-to-10 at halftime.

However, the Steelers put the pressure on the Packers with a touchdown in the third and another midway in the fourth to cut down the Packers lead, 25-to-28. The Steelers defense forced Green Bay to settle for a field goal in the next possession to give them a chance to win the game trailing by just six points with over two minutes to go in the game. Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s last three passes were off-target however, turning the ball over and giving the Packers the 31-to-25 victory. Aaron Rodgers was named Super Bowl XLV completing 24-of-39 passes for 304 yards and 3 TDs.
