Recap: The Chicago Bears dominated the New England Patriots, 46-to-10 on their way to the Super Bowl XX title. Despite a bad start—giving up a field goal inside the first two minutes of the game off a Bears fumble—Chicago recovered quickly scoring a pair of field goals and adding a touchdown in the first quarter.

The romp was on as the Bears scored 33 points more while limiting the Patriots to a single touchdown the rest of the way. Defensive end Richard Dent was named the Super Bowl XX MVP leading Chicago’s vaunted defense with 1 ½ sacks.
