Recap: The third time is the charm. Not for the Buffalo Bills though, who again lost the championship game for the third straight year. It was the Dallas Cowboys who bagged the Super Bowl XXVII title as gave the Bills a masterful beating with a score of 52-to-17.

The Bills recorded a total of 9 turnovers— eight fumbles— the most in both categories in Super Bowl history. Dallas quarterback Troy Aikman was the Super Bowl XXVII MVP and had 22-of-30 passes for 273 yards with 4 touchdowns. Dallas running back Emmit Smith had 108 yards on 22 receptions while wide receiver Michael Irvin had 114 yards on 6 catches.
