Date: January 30, 1994

Venue: Georgia Dome (Atlanta, Georgia)

Attendance: 72,817

Result: Dallas Cowboys def. Buffalo Bills, 30–13

MVP: Emmitt Smith (RB, Dallas)

Recap: For the fourth time in four years, the Buffalo Bills couldn’t go all the way. In a re-match of the previous year’s championship, it was again the Dallas Cowboys who stood on the way of the Bills’ hopes of a Super Bowl title.

The Bills actually led at halftime, 13-to-6 but early in the third, the Cowboys recovered a Bills fumble for a 46-yard return touchdown. From then on it was all Dallas, as they opened up the game on the way to a 30-to-13 victory. Dallas running back Emmit Smith was named the Super Bowl XXVIII MVP and had 132 yards on 30 carries with 2 TDs. Dallas quarterback Troy Aikman completed 19-of-27 passes for 207 yards.
