Recap: The Dallas Cowboys were aiming for their 5th title in Super Bowl XXX and on its way were the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cowboys had 13 points on the board in the middle of the 2nd quarter. Before the halftime break however, the Steelers found the end zone and cut the lead down to six, 7-to-13.

The Cowboys threatened to pull away in the 3rd when Dallas cornerback Larry Brown intercepted a pass for a 44-yard return to set-up a Dallas touchdown. The Steelers would not go away though scoring a field goal and a TD in the 4th quarter to come within three, 17-to-20. Pittsburgh had a chance to complete the comeback with 4:15 remaining, but once again, Brown came up big with another interception and a 33-yard return to set up yet another TD for the final score of 27-to-17 for the Cowboys. With his excellent defensive plays, Brown was named the Super Bowl MVP XXX.
