The Rams recorded the first four scores—three field goals and a touchdown– of the game for a 16-to-0 lead in the middle of the third quarter. But the Titans unleashed a scoring run of their own, scoring on a pair of touchdowns and added a field goal to tie the game at 16-apiece with more than three minutes to go. Starting play at the St. Louise 37, Kurt Warner found wide receiver Isaac Bruce for 73 yards and the game-winning touchdown as the Rams defeated 23-to-16 to notch the title. Warner was named the Super Bowl XXXIV MVP after completing 24-of-45 passes for 414 yards and 2 touchdowns.
