The Cowboys couldn’t get their offense going in Week 1 of the preseason, and that resulted in a 17-7 road loss to the Denver Broncos. Still, the Cowboys came up with over 300 total yards and had more first downs than Denver, 21-19. Ben DiNucci passed for 112 yards and a touchdown on 9/16 completions.

The Chargers also lost in Week 1, falling prey to the reigning Super Bowl champions Los Angeles Chargers, 29-22. Easton Stick went 16/23 for 119 yards, zero touchdowns, and an interception. Despite the loss, the Chargers churned out 312 total yards to just 232 by the Rams. They were also 9/15 on third downs and 2/2 in the red zone.
The Chargers are 20-41-1 against the spread in their last 62 home games.
