Kansas City Chiefs vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Predictions, Picks, Odds, and Betting Preview | NFL Week 4 – October 2, 2022

The Kansas City Chiefs suffered a stunning 20-17 road loss to Matt Ryan and the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3. That came after they destroyed the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 and taught the Los Angeles Chargers a lesson on who’s the boss still is in the AFC West division in Week 2. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are also looking to recover after suffering their first loss of the season at the hands of the Green Bay Packers last Sunday (14-12). Also note that this game might be played at a neutral site due to the threat of Hurricane Ian. Check out our preview of this Chiefs vs Buccaneers game in Week 4 of the 2022 NFL regular season.

Betting Preview for the Kansas City Chiefs vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 4 Game on October 2, 2022

Where: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa

When: Sunday, October 2, 2022, 8:20 PM ET

Line: Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+2.5) – view all 2022 NFL lines

TV Broadcast: NFL Network

Betting on the Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5)

Regular Season Record: 2-1

The Chiefs were on their way to a 3-0 record but Chris Jones got called for a foolish penalty late in the Colts game that paved the way for Indianapolis to score the game-winning touchdown. In other words, the Chiefs are still rock solid, notwithstanding the loss to Indianapolis. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are averaging 29.3 points per game this season – fourth overall in the NFL – and third with 0.489 points per play.

The Over is 5-1 in the Chiefs’ last six games away from home.

Betting on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+2.5)

Regular Season Record: 2-1

The Buccaneers missed a lot of key bodies in Week 3 against the Packers and it obviously worked against their favor. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Julio Jones were all absent in the Green Bay game. Evans at least is going to make a return to action this week after serving a one-game suspension, and that could be good enough for Tom Brady to thwart Kansas City’s defense that is allowing opposing teams to complete 68.29 percent of their pass attempts – just 25th among NFL defenses this year.

The Buccaneers are 8-2 against the spread in their last 10 games after a loss.
