Billy Horschel
Billy Horschel (+5,000) captured the imagination of golf fans everywhere with a stunning victory in the BMW Championship last year. Horschel closed with a 1-under-par 69, making par on each of his final 11 holes to emerge with a two-shot victory at Cherry Hills. It was a crucial victory for Horschel who would go on and win the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup title a week later.
[sc:Golf240banner ]Horschel has been playing some good golf as well this season, recording nine top-25 finishes this year. Key to Horschel’s success this season has been his excellent shot-making. He regularly finds a way to get the ball to the green in regulation, ranking 20th in that category with a 69.51 percent clip. With the form that he is in right now and his experience with this tournament, Horschel has an excellent chance of winning back-to-back BMW titles this weekend.

Charley Hoffman
One golfer who can definitely make a run at the title this week is American Charley Hoffman. The 38-year-old has found his range in 2015 with a win, two second-place finishes and a third-place showing this season. He has finished in the top-10 seven times this year and he has made the cut in 19 of the 26 events that he has entered this season.
Key to Hoffman’s sudden resurgence this year has been his incredible driving. He is 27th in the PGA Tour in driving distance, averaging 300.1 yards per drive this season. Hoffman is also averaging 3.98 birdies per round this year, 17th-best in the PGA Tour. That will come in handy when tackling the 7,198-yard, par-71 Conway Farms course. He is pegged at +5,000 to win the title this week.
Paul Casey
If there’s one golfer primed for a breakthrough win at the BMW Championship this week, it’s got to be Paul Casey. He has had plenty of close calls this year, finishing second two times, finishing third two more times and ranking in the top 10 in seven of the 22 tournaments he has played this season.
Like Hoffman, Casey’s main weapon this year has been his booming drive. He is 35th in the PGA Tour in driving distance, averaging 297.8 yards off the tee. What makes the Englishman special, though, is his ability to hit the greens in regulation. He is fifth in the PGA Tour in that department, posting a remarkable 72.22 percent clip this season. With Casey in such a rich vein of form, he is a solid pick at +5,000 to win the title this weekend.
