Jim Furyk (+1,600)
We just can’t ignore Jim Furyk, who aside from having a couple of finishes inside the top 15 over his last three starts, is fresh off a mind-numbing performance at the Travelers Championship in which he shot a Tour-record 58 in the final round. Any player who’s capable of a round like that deserves attention and Furyk will be looking to capitalize on his newfound momentum when he makes an appearance at Greensboro this week.Hideki Matsuyama (+1,600)
It’s been a while since Matsuyama took home a PGA victory. That was back in February, when he beat Rickie Fowler in a playoff to emerge victorious at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Matsuyama remains a big threat to other competitors, however, as the Japanese star has been able to amass six top 10s and 10 top 25s in 18 events played thus far this season.
Robert Streb (+5,000)
Streb had a T7 at the PGA Tour, which appeared to be a good omen heading into the John Deere Classic, where he managed to finish inside the top 40 in each of his last three previous participations in the event. Unfortunately, Streb missed the cut at TPC Deere Run, which isn’t a nice springboard heading into Greensboro. Still, Streb is a nice option to lay a value bet considering the long odds sportsbooks are expected to put on him.
