Looking for a worthy sleeper this week? How about Bud Cauley? The 27-year-old has been in outstanding form of late, notching top-10 finishes in three of his last four starts, including a tie for fifth at the AT&T Byron Nelson earlier this month. Cauley finished tied for 38th in last year’s Memorial Tournament, shooting a seven-under-par total of 281.
Another golfer who’s primed for a huge performance this week is Bill Haas. He loves playing at Muirfield Village, nabbing top-18 finishes in three of his last four Memorial starts, including a fourth-place finish back in 2013. Haas has been playing some superb golf of late, finishing tied for 12th at last week’s Dean & DeLuca Invitational.
Chris Kirk
One golfer who can definitely make a run at the title this week is Chris Kirk. He loves playing in these big PGA Tour events as evidenced by his 12th-place finish at the Players Championship earlier this month. The Tennessee native has a pair of top-25s in six appearances at Muirfield Village, including a T4 in 2014.
