The 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series heads on over to Texas for the 2017 O’Reilly Auto Parts 500. Brad Keselowski has been outstanding for the last month or so, and is coming off a win at Martinsville last weekend. Do the experts think he can keep up his strong run in Texas, or are they confident in another contender taking the checkered flag? Let’s find out below.
Jeff Gutowski of Fantasy Racing Cheat Sheet is going with Kevin Harvick to win it all in Fort Worth. Harvick has a very good history in the track in Texas, where he’s finished in the top 10 in each of his last five starts. He has yet to claim the checkered flag, but he has a good chance of finally snapping that winless run this weekend.
Harvick was excellent in Atlanta – a similar track to Texas Motor Speedway – as he led for 292 out of 325 laps committing a crucial pit stop mistake. Gutowski doesn’t believe lightning will strike twice this weekend, and he sees Harvick getting his first win of the year.

Chad Robb of Fox Sports is hopping on the Brad Keselowski bandwagon for this weekend’s race, and it’s hard to blame him. The No. 2 has been outstanding ever since Daytona. He’s grabbed five top-5 finishes in five races, including wins at Atlanta and last weekend at Martinsville.
With that excellent form, Robb is confident in Keselowski’s ability to continue his dominance en route to a trip to Victory Lane.

The panel of Yahoo! Fantasy NASCAR experts compiled by Fantasy Racing Cheat Sheet is pretty divided in terms of picking a winner this weekend. Chase Lupton agrees with Gutowski that Harvick will come out on top, while Kyle Wiseman has sided with Robb in picking the in-form Keselowski. However, the other three experts have thrown three other names – Joey Logano, Kyle Larson, and Martin Truex Jr. – into the hat.
Their inclusion shouldn’t be entirely surprising, though. Larson (1st), Truex (3rd), and Logano (5th) are all riding high in the standings in the early going. Larson, in particular, will be eager to bounce back from his disappointing 17th place finish at Martinsville, which snapped a streak of four-straight races with a 2nd-place finish or better.
