It’s once again time to share the experts’ predictions for the upcoming NASCAR event. Be sure to check out this piece before laying some of that hard-earned cheese on certain driver(s).
FOX Sports’s Chad Robb and Sports Chat Place’s Randy Chambers pretty much echoed each other’s thoughts on the outcome of the race. They see Kyle Busch coming out on top.
For Robb, he believes Busch, who he says is bound to have his first win at the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, has all the drive (no pun intended) and aggression to record titles at Sonoma, noting that in such tracks, no one is better than the future Hall-of-Famer. Busch, as you may remember, has a pair of wins in the course, one of which was in 2015, where he won despite breaking his leg just months prior.
The all-around sports expert Randy Chambers, meanwhile, says that he’s ready to forget Busch’s shortcomings earlier in the season. Busch, though lacking a first-place tag for some time now, is still boasting five top nine finishes in his last six events. Also, he has already won the Toyota/Save Mart 350 twice, which tells you that the man knows a whole lot about winning this race.

This is all about Jeff Gutowski simply loving the trend and fresher environment that Clint Bowyer is in. Along with posting eight top 10 finishes in his last 11 races, the 38-year-old Bowyer is also appearing to be benefiting quite well in his shift to Stewart-Haas Racing, which is known to be far more equipped than his previous teams.
Known as two of the current active greats of the sport, Gutowski acknowledged the great possibility of Busch and Jimmie Johnson winning the whole thing. However, he really sees Bowyer coming home with that W.
