There are 32 women entered in this event and the last one standing will get $43,000. Avoiding shopping is going to be next to impossible for a woman with that much dough in her purse. The runner-up stands to receive $21,400, which isn’t bad either. Checks worth $11,500 each are going to be cut for the semifinalists and $6,200 for each player who’ll reach the quarters. Those who exit the second and first round, meanwhile, will go home with $3,420 and $2,220, respectively.
