Via CBS Sports, Mike McClure of SportsLine, is confident that Erik Jones is going to surpass expectations at the Go Bowling at the Glen. Not many people are being excited over the prospect of Jones winning this coming weekend’s race, mostly because he hasn’t competed at the track plenty of times. But he’s shown promise in the two races he’s had there so far in his career. Last year, he finished fifth at the 2018 Go Bowling race and was 10th at the 2017 edition of the same event. Jones is also on a hot streak, having finished inside the top three in each of his last three races.

Busch has simply been amazing this season in which he has five top 6s, 12 top 10s, and 247 laps led overall. Plus, of course, he has four wins, tied for most this season. Busch hasn’t won in a while (relatively speaking), but he’s trending towards one again, having placed inside the top 10 in all of this past three races. He has a career average finish of 9.36 at the Watkins Glen International with two wins across 14 races there.
