The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series is ready for another race. Up next is the 2021 Coca-Cola 600, where Brad Keselowski will try to defend the win he got there last year. He’ll be up against a strong field, though, which includes the three favorites we have listed below along with a couple of sleepers and a long shot. Let’s check those drivers below.

FAVORITES
Martin Truex Jr. (+425)
Truex was unable to finish the race last week in the EchoPark Texas Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas after a collision with Cole Custer. However, he must still feel lucky that he was able to come out of that accident safe and ready to race again as soon as this week. Truex has three wins on the season, the latest was his victory in the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway earlier this month. He’s easily one of the must-watch driers for the upcoming race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, as he has three wins there and seven top 5s in 29 career starts on that track. In his last start there, he finished ninth at the Alsco 500 in May 2020.
Chase Elliott (+550)
Elliott has got all the momentum in the world right now after winning the 2021 EchoPark Texas Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas. But even if he didn’t win that race, Elliott is going to be among the top drivers to watch, if not the top, in the 2021 Coca-Cola 600. After all, he has a career average finish of 9.53 across nine starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Also, he has cracked the top four in all of his last three starts there, including a win in the 2020 Alsco 500.
Kyle Busch (+600)
After a disappointing showing in the Drydene 400 at Dover International Speedway, Busch had a much more impressive performance, as he finished 109th in the EchoPark Texas Grand Prix. He now has three top 10s in his last three starts, a stretch that includes his win in the Buschy McBusch Race 400 at Kansas Speedway on May 2. Busch only has one in 32 starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but he’s got a 14.69 career average finish there. He also cracked the top 4 in three of his last four appearances on that track.
SLEEPERS
Cole Custer (+10000)
As mentioned earlier, Custer got involved in a crash with Truex last Sunday at Circuit of the Americans. That took away the momentum was having after finishing 10th in the previous race at Dover (Drydene 400). Still, don’t sleep too hard on Custer, who has cracked the top 18 in two career NASCAR Cup Series starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Chris Buescher (+15000)
Buescher is highly motivated to put up a strong performance as he’s in a precarious position in the NASCAR Cup Series standings. He is currently 15th with 338 points, thanks in large part to his trio of top 10s this season. Buescher also has two top 10s in his last three appearances at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
LONG SHOT
Quin Houff (+100000)
Houff is currently ranked 31st on the NASCAR Cup Series standings this year. Across 14 starts this season, he’s only managed to come up with an average finish of 31.33. He has three starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but the best finish among those was a 28th back in the 2019 Coca-Cola 600.
Writer’s Prediction
Kyle Busch wins the 2021 Coca-Cola 600.
