Betting on the Milwaukee Bucks (odds)

Regular Season Record: 48-30

The Bucks are looking to prevent a three-game skid when they go up against Chicago this Tuesday. They are fresh off the heels of back-to-back losses to the Los Angeles Clippers (153-119) and the Dallas Mavericks (118-112) both at home. Defense has become something of an issue of late for the Bucks, but they should still have all the confidence in the world that they could contain Chicago. After all, they have defeated the Bulls in all three meetings so far this season, covering the spread in the last two. In fact, the Bulls have averaged just 100 points on 43.2 percent shooting from the field and 30.9 percent shooting from behind the arc in those meetings with Milwaukee, who is still among the best teams in the league.

The Bucks, averaging 115.0 points this season, are 6-4 against the spread in their last 10 games away from home.

Betting on the Chicago Bulls (odds)

Regular Season Record: 45-33

The Bulls are coming off a 127-109 home loss to the Miami Heat last Saturday despite big productions from DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine. DeRozan had 26 points against the Heat, while LaVine went 11/21 from the field and 6/6 from the foul line for 33 points. The missing factor was Nikola Vucevic, who only had 12 points, though he also came away with 10 rebounds. Vucevic can recover right away offensively, considering he’s been having his way against the Bucks’ defense this season. He has put up an average of 20 points on 53.3 percent shooting from the floor and 50 percent from deep versus Milwaukee. It’s also possible that the Bucks elect to rest their stars, as this game is on the front end of a back-to-back set.

The Bulls are 3-1 against the spread in their last four games as the home team.

Writer’s Prediction

The Bucks win, 114-110.
