FAVORITES
Scottie Scheffler (+900)
Fresh off a win at THE PLAYERS Championship, Scheffler can feed off that momentum as he tees off this week at Austin Country Club, where he also won the 2022 edition of the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play. Moreover, Scheffler finished runner-up at that same location during the 2021 World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play.
Jon Rahm (+1100)
Rahm did not last more than a round at the THE PLAYERS Championship due to illness, which came after a T39 at the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard. But make no mistake about it; Jon Rahm is still a force to reckon with, someone who has six top 10s, including three wins in eight starts this season.
Rory McIlroy (+1200)
The Northern Irishman will be so eager to hit balls again this week after a missed cut at THE PLAYERS Championship. On the season, McIlroy is 4/5 with a win in five starts. At Austin Country Club, McIlroy is 5/5 with his best finish there being a fourth-place during the World Golf Championships-Dell Match Play in the 2015-16 PGA TOUR season.
HIGH-VALUE SLEEPERS
Corey Conners (+6000)
Here’s what we said about Conners in our 2023 World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play sleepers piece.
Coming off a missed cut at THE PLAYERS Championship, Conners might be someone not many bettors are considering backing at the 2023 World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play. That being said, Conners should still command attention, as he is 7/9 this season with five top 25s, not to mention the fact that is placed third in last year’s staging of the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play. Conners
Harris English (+9000)
Here’s what we said about English in our 2023 World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play sleepers piece.
The 33-year-old English has been wildly inconsistent this season, having made the cut in nine of 15 starts. He also has two top 10s, including a runner-up not long ago at the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard. That was before he missed the cut at the 2023 THE PLAYERS Championship. English is 29th overall so far this season in terms of SG: Putting (.487).
LONG SHOTS
J.J. Spaun (+15000)
The 32-year-old Spaun has missed the cut in both his last two starts. He is 9/13 this season with six top 25s and a top 10, which was a T5 at the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions back in January.
Andrew Putnam (+17500)
Putnam is 11/15 this season with four top 25s and two top 10s, including a T2 at the 2022 ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP back in October.
