Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Chicago Blackhawks (8:00 PM ET)

Line: Tampa Bay Lightning (+155) at Chicago Blackhawks (-175); total: 5.0view all Stanley Cup lines

[sc:NHL240 ]The Chicago Blackhawks moved to within a victory of their third Stanley Cup championship in six seasons after recording a nerve-wracking 2-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday night.  Antoine Vermette and Patrick Sharp scored the goals for the Blackhawks who now take a commanding 3-2 series lead heading into Game 6.

The Blackhawks’ win wouldn’t be possible, though, without the heroics of goalkeeper Corey Crawford. The 30-year-old recorded 31 saves and had a .969 SV% in Game 5. For the Lightning to extend this series to a winner-take-all Game 7, they will need to get their offense firing again. They have scored just two goals in their last two games.

The total has gone under in Chicago’s last six home games against Tampa Bay.

Chicago wins, 3-2, to grab its sixth Stanley Cup title.

Minnesota Twins vs. St. Louis Cardinals (8:15 PM ET)

Line: Minnesota Twins at St. Louis Cardinals – view all MLB lines

Michael Wacha

The Minnesota Twins snapped their five-game losing with a 4-3 victory over the Texas Rangers on Sunday. They will look to make it back-to-back wins when they square off with the St. Louis Cardinals in their series opener tonight. Starting for Minnesota tonight is Trevor May (4-4, 4.16 ERA). He was solid in his last outing, allowing just one run on seven hits and three walks in six innings of action in the Twins’ 2-0 loss to the Kansas City Royals on June 9.

The Cards, on the other hand, will counter with right-hander Michael Wacha (8-2, 2.45 ERA). Wacha struggled in his last start, allowing four earned runs on nine hits in 6.2 innings of work in St. Louis’ 4-3 loss to Colorado on June 9. That being said, the Cards will fancy their chances with Wacha on the mound tonight. They are 6-1 in their last seven home games with Wacha as their starter.

The total has gone under in the Cards’ last seven home games against the Twins.

Writer’s Prediction

St. Louis wins, 4-1. Create a betting account now and bet on the best games for tonight.
