Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Washington Wizards (7:00 PM ET)

Line: Cleveland Cavaliers at Washington Wizards – view all NBA lines

The Cleveland Cavaliers are no longer unbeaten. The reigning NBA champions had their six-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday with a gut-wrenching 110-106 loss to the Atlanta Hawks. The Cavs will look to get their season back on track when they lock horns with the Washington Wizards tonight. They will fancy their chances of doing just that as they have fared extremely well against the Wizards on the road of late. The Cavs have won six of their last eight road games against the Wizards.

For the Cavs to extend their dominance against the Wizards, they will need to get another huge performance from their Big Three. LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love are averaging a combined 68.8 points for the Cavs this season. The Cavs have been tearing it up on the offensive end, averaging a whopping 111.4 points per game this campaign. That’s second-best in the NBA this season.

The Wizards are 6-4 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Cavs.

Writer’s Prediction

Cleveland wins, 99-92.

New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics (7:30 PM ET)

Line: New York Knicks at Boston Celtics – view all NBA lines

What in the world is happening to Boston? The Celtics crashed to their third consecutive defeat with a humiliating 118-93 loss to the Washington Wizards on Wednesday. They have struggled mightily without Al Horford and Jae Crowder, allowing an average of 123 points over their last three games. The Celtics are dead-last in the NBA in defensive efficiency and total rebound percentage this season.

They will look to end their losing rut when they lock horns with New York tonight. The Knicks are coming off a morale-boosting 110-96 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. Carmelo Anthony scored 14 of his 22 points in the third quarter to help New York battle back from a 14-point deficit. Anthony will be licking his chops at the prospect of facing a Boston side that’s third-worst in the NBA in scoring defense this season. He averaged 23.0 points and 8.8 rebounds in four meetings with the Celtics last season.

The Knicks are 6-4 ATS in their last 10 games against the Celtics.

Writer’s Prediction

New York edges past Boston, 105-101.
