Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (3:40 PM ET)
Line: Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks – view all MLB lines
Clayton Kershaw looks to mow down another lineup later today as the strikeout machine takes on the Diamondbacks on the road. That’s going to be easier said than done, however, even for Kershaw, who is 9-1 with a 1.52 ERA thus far this year. For one, Arizona has been batting well against lefty starters, slashing .278/ .350/ .472 versus southpaws in 2016. Arizona will counter Kershaw with Patrick Corbin (3-5 record, 4.81 ERA). The Dodgers are 3-1 in Kershaw’s last four starts opposite the Diamondbacks. Arizona, meanwhile, is 4-1 in its last five games against lefty starters.
Writer’s Prediction
Arizona wins, 3-2.
