Houston Astros vs. New York Yankees (7:05 PM ET)

Line: Houston Astros (+132) at New York Yankees (-142); total: 8.0view all MLB lines

The Houston Astros extended their winning streak to three games with a dramatic 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. Jason Castro hit a walk-off homer in the 10th inning to help the Astros complete the three-game sweep. The Astros will look to sustain the momentum of that huge win when they take on the New York Yankees in the opening game of their three-game set.

[sc:MLB240banner ]Starting for the Astros tonight is Scott Feldman (5-5, 4.05 ERA). He has been effective for the Astros of late, allowing two earned runs or fewer in four of his past five starts. He is 1-1 with a 2.87 ERA in six starts since returning from the disabled list after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

The Yankees, on the other hand, will counter with Nathan Eovaldi (13-2, 4.24 ERA). The Yankees have won six of their last seven games with Eovaldi as their starter. He was solid in his last start, allowing just three runs on four hits in seven innings of work in New York’s 4-3 victory over Minnesota on August 19. He has now surrendered three or fewer earned runs in 10 of his last 11 starts, and has gone 8-0 during that stretch.

New York Mets vs. Philadelphia Phillies (7:05 PM ET)

Line: New York Mets (-220) at Philadelphia Phillies (+190); total: 7.0view all MLB lines

The New York Mets stretched their unbeaten run to three games with a 5-1 win over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday. It was a fantastic performance by the Mets, who completed their first-ever sweep at Coors Field. The Mets will look to keep the winning streak alive when they take on the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park later tonight.

Pitching for the Mets this evening is Jacob deGrom (12-6, 1.98 ERA). He earned a win this past Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles, allowing one run on five hits and one walk while striking out six over 7.2 innings. The Mets are now 7-0 in deGrom’s last seven starts.

The Phillies, on the other hand, will have Adam Morgan (4-4, 3.92 ERA) on the mound tonight. He was superb in his last start, conceding just two runs on five hits in seven innings of action in Philadelphia’s 7-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on August 19. The Phillies have won four of their last six games with Morgan as their starting pitcher.
