Scheduled next for them is a series opener against the Milwaukee Brewers, who are looking to pad their lead atop the National League Central. In another game, the San Francisco Giants travels to Pittsburgh in search of a win after going winless in their previous games.

The Rays will start Jake Odorizzi (6-8, 3.97 ERA), whose last four starts have resulted in a 3-1 record for Tampa Bay. Madison Bumgarner (12-7, 3.19 ERA) takes the mound tonight for the Giants, who have lost all of their last four games. The Giants are 3-0 in the lefty’s last three starts, which includes their 3-1 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on July 23rd, wherein Bumgarner pitched eight scoreless innings.
