FAVORITES

Kevin Harvick (odds)

Harvick’s been hot since the season’s resumption back in May, and you shouldn’t ignore him when thinking of a driver to bet on at the 2020 Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 Powered by Big Machine Records, especially when considering the fact that he has two wins and a fantastic 8.95 career average — the best all-time —  finish in 19 total starts at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Harvick has finished no worse than sixth in any of his past five starts there, a stretch that includes his win at last year’s Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard Powered By Florida Georgia Line race.

Joey Logano (odds)

Logano has not won at Indianapolis Speedway, but he’s come close to snagging the checkered flag there multiple times before. In fact, Logano has four top 5s and seven top 10s in 11 career races at the said track. His 10.91 career average finish there is second only to Harvick’s, all-time. In five appearances at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway since 2015, Logano has earned two runner-up finishes.

Kyle Busch (odds)

Like Harvick, Busch is a two-time winner at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He won the 2015 Crown Royal presents the Jeff Kyle 400 at The Brickyard then topped the field at the 2016 edition of the same race. Busch has had a pair of sub-30 finishes in his last three starts there, but when he’s victories at the track should remind everyone why he’s a driver to watch out for this coming Sunday.

SLEEPERS

William Byron (odds)

Byron only has two NASCAR Cup Series races under his belt at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He finished 19th in his debut there in 2018 then made quite a leap last year, when he finished fourth at the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard Powered By Florida Georgia Line.

Clint Bowyer (odds)

There may be times sleeper-hunters feel like giving up on Bowyer, but now is not the right time for that. For one, Bowyer has four top 5s and five top 10s in 14 career races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He had back-to-back fifth-place finishes at the track in 2018 and 2019.

LONG SHOT

Corey LaJoie (odds)

Lajoie hasn’t cracked the top 15 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but he’s gradually gotten better in each of his first three races there. He finished 40th there in 2017, 27th in 2018, and 19th in 2019.

Writer’s Prediction

Clint Bowyer wins the 2020 Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 Powered by Big Machine Records.
