Betting on the Buffalo Bills  (5-5)

Point Spread: (+9.5)

After a really nice start to the season, the Buffalo Bills and their fans really believed this team was a playoff team, and they very well could be, but they have a lot of work to do if they want to make it there. They come into this game having lost three games in a row, and now they have a quarterback issue on their hands. Sean McDermott decided to bench Tyrod Taylor and let Nathan Peterman get the start in the last game against the Chargers.

Peterman came out and threw five interceptions against the Chargers in the first half. They went back to Tyrod Taylor in the second half, but they haven’t committed to him in this game. If Peterman starts in this game, they won’t have any chance to win, plain and simple. He has shown he isn’t ready for NFL competition yet this year, and the Bills would be making a mistake.

In this game the defense also needs to find an identity again. Now I know they were put in some tough situations against the Chargers, but they were still allowed to put up 54 points. They can’t let Alex Smith get comfortable in the pocket. They need to put pressure on him, and hopefully pressure him into some mistakes.

Betting on the Kansas City Chiefs (6-4)

Point Spread: (-9.5)

On the other side of this match up is the Kansas City Chiefs, who also got off to a fast start this year, but come into this game really struggling. After winning the first five games of the year, they come into this game having lost four of the last five games, and they are playing like they have zero confidence.

In their last game, the offense could only score nine points against a Giants team that has struggled especially on the defensive end, and that led to the loss.

After starting off the season strong, Alex Smith has struggled and against the Giants he threw two interceptions. To win this game the offense needs to get going. They can’t keep playing the way they have or this will be a long game, and a long rest of the season.

Writer’s Prediction:

I think the Bills will go back to Tyrod Taylor, and I think he will give this team a much needed spark. I think they will pull the big upset in this one, and keep their playoff hopes alive in this one. Pick: Buffalo (+10)
