Betting on the Cincinnati Bengals (2-3)

Point Spread: (+5.5)

The Cincinnati Bengals are hunting for their third straight win coming off their bye week in this contest. They came through with another dazzling defense performance in their 20-16 victory over the Bills two weeks ago. Andy Dalton did toss two picks in the win, however, he accumulated 328 passing yards with one touchdown.

The 29-year old quarterback has been starting to find his groove this season as he has collected 1,220 passing yards with a seven touchdowns and six interceptions. Dalton only threw one TD in two games against the Steelers last season.

A.J. Green had another big game in the win, bringing in seven grabs for 189 yards and one touchdown. The 29-year old star receiver is having a tremendous season, racking up 504 receiving yards, ranking him second in the NFL. The Bengals are known for their high powered passing offense which will be shown this Sunday.

Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2)

Point Spread: (-5.5)

The Pittsburgh Steelers had a huge day in Week 6 as their defense was extremely solid in their 19-13 road win over a Chiefs team that owned a 5-0 record. Ben Roethlisberger was much better than his week five effort, throwing for 252 yards with one touchdown against one interception. The 35-year old quarterback was under criticism after his five picks in week five against the Jaguars but has shown he still has some left in the tank.

The veteran now has totaled 1,521 passing yards with a seven touchdowns and eight interceptions. Take out that horrible five interception game and Roethlisberger is up there with the other quarterbacks performance wise. Roethlisberger tossed 4 TD’s against two INT’s against the Bengals last year. Antonio Brown was at his best in the win, bringing down eight catches for 155 yards and one TD.

The Steelers defense was outstanding last week, holding the powerful Chiefs offense to only 251 yards and only 28 rushing yards. Vince Williams was able to make two sacks and has collected a total of four on the season.

Writer’s Prediction:

Pittsburgh has found it’s groove on the season as the Bengals are facing the mighty Steelers defense at the wrong time. Pick: Steelers (-5.5)
