Tottenham stretched their unbeaten run in the Premier League to six matches with a resounding 4-0 victory over Stoke City on Monday. It was an important result for Mauricio Pochettino’s men who are eight points adrift of leaders Leicester City in the race for the EPL title with a game in hand. They have now won 10 of their last 13 league outings.

Key to Tottenham’s late-season charge has been their excellent form on the offensive end. Spurs have scored 15 goals over their last six Premier League matches. Tottenham are second in the league in scoring this season, netting a whopping 64 goals this campaign. Providing the impetus for Spurs’ attack is English sensation Harry Kane. He leads the Premier League in the golden boot charts, scoring 24 goals this season. Kane scored a vital double in the win against Stoke City on Monday.

Spurs will look to keep the momentum going when they face West Bromwich Albion later today. They will fancy their chances of doing just that as they have fared extremely well at White Hart Lane this season. Tottenham are fourth in the league in points scored at home this campaign with 35. They have scored 33 goals in 17 matches played at home this season.

Tottenham are 5-1-0 in their last six Premier League home matches.

Betting on West Bromwich Albion (10-10-14, 40 pts)

Manager Tony Pulis barking instructions to his West Brom squad

What in the world is happening to West Brom? The Baggies crashed to their third consecutive league defeat with a humbling 2-0 loss to Arsenal on Thursday. It was another disappointing performance by the Baggies who are currently 14th in the Premier League table with just 40 points to their name this season.

Things are bound to get tougher for the Baggies as standing in their way today are the red-hot Tottenham Hotspur. The North London outfit has dropped just seven points in their last 13 matches. They have outscored their opponents, 30-8, during this span.

For West Brom to record a major upset against Tottenham, they will need to find a way to stop the red-hot Dele Alli. The newly-minted PFA Young Player of the Year has recorded three goals and four assists in his last six league appearances for Tottenham. He was one of the goalscorers in Spurs’ 1-1 draw with West Brom earlier this season. Stopping Alli will be easier said than done, though, for a West Brom defense that has conceded five goals in their last three matches.

Apart from improving their defense, the Baggies will also need to work on their flailing attack against Spurs. West Brom have scored just 12 goals on the road this season, second-fewest in the Premier League this campaign. The Baggies have also scored just two goals in their last five matches. That being said, Tony Pulis’ men will still fancy their chances of getting a result against Tottenham today. The Baggies have notched a win and two draws in their past three league visits to White Hart Lane.

The Baggies are 1-2-3 in their last six Premier League away matches.
