NFL Week 11 Fantasy Experts Waiver Wire Pickups

Green Bay isn’t having a good time of late, but that shouldn’t deter you from scouring for potential fantasy pickups on its roster. And among those Packers who has caught the eye of fantasy owners this week is James Starts, who returned to action after a five-week absence with a decent workload, albeit in a 47-25 loss to Tennessee. Against the Titans, Starks got the most touches out of the backfield with seven, rushing for 33 yards.
Those numbers are nothing to salivate at, but considering that Eddie Lacy is far from getting back from an ankle injury and Ty Montgomery was just the second-fiddle in the running game against Tennessee, it appears that Starks is Green Bay’s running back of choice moving forward or until Lacy returns.
As pointed out by Yahoo! Sports’ Liz Loza, Starks is also bound to produce better numbers in Week 11 opposite Washington’s defense that has given up the second-most number of rushing scores thus far this year.

Sporting News’ Matt Lutovsky, meanwhile, is one of the many experts preaching for fantasy players to scoop up Kansas City wideout Tyreek Hill off the waivers. Hill is just owned 15 percent in Yahoo leagues and just 9.9% in ESPN so the opportunity to grab him is still there. Hill has showed an ability to be involved in big plays, as he has caught 38, 49, and 27 receiving yards in three different plays over the past four games. That said, after Hill posted 89 receiving yards on 10 catches in a 20-17 win over Carolina on Sunday, owners’ window must be closing fast on them nabbing the West Alabama product.

TE | Cameron Brate |
For those looking for depth in the tight end position, Cameron Brate is starting to look like a can’t-miss prospect. Brate has scored a touchdown in each of the Bucs’ last three outings, including in the team’s 36-10 win over Chicago in which the tight end caught seven passes for 84 yards. In case you need more evidence why Brate should be a hot pickup this week, consider the fact that he’s the most targeted Buc in the red zone by Jameis Winston. Per NFLsavant.com, Brate is tied with Mike Evans in red zone targets (10). He also paces the team with seven red zone completions.
