FAVORITES

Joey Logano (+1000)

Logano had a good shot of winning his third start of the season last Sunday’s Food City presents the Supermarket Heroes 500 race until he got involved in a collision with Chase Elliott when there were only two laps remaining in the race. Instead, he settled for a 21st-place finish. He can’t dwell on that loss too much. If anything, he is still the current leader in the NASCAR Cup Series standings. Logan o will look to net his third win of the season this weekend at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, where he has zero wins so far, but has two top 6s over his last three starts there.

Brad Keselowski (+750)

Guess who benefited the most in the collision between Logano and Elliott? This guy. (Just imagine us pointing at Keselowski.) Keselowski has been hot since the season resumed, as he now has two wins and four top 10s in five races since last month. His other win was at the Coca Cola 600 in Charlotte late last month. With the way things are going for Keselowski of late plus the fact that he’s got two wins in his last three starts at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, it does seem that he’s about to have another glorious day on Sunday.

Kevin Harvick (+600)

Harvick’s streak of top-finishes had ended two races ago, but he remains a driver to watch. Even with that streak snapped at seven races when he finished 10th at the Alsco Uniforms 500 race in Charlotte, he still looked decent at the very least in his last two starts. After that aforementioned Charlotte race, Harvick finished 11th in last week’s Food City presents the Supermarket Heroes 500 race. Harvick has two wins and 14 top 10s in 29 career races at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

SLEEPERS

Clint Bowyer (+4000)

Bowyer has finally shown a sign of life after four consecutive starts of sub-10th place finishes. At the Bristol Motor Speedway over the weekend, Bowyer took advantage of the Logano-Elliott crash and swooped in for a runner-up finish at the Food City presents the Supermarket Heroes 500. Can Bowyer keep it up? He has two top 5s in his last two trips to Atlanta.

William Byron (+3000)

Byron has zero wins to date this season, but he’s been doing relatively well, especially when you consider that he has two top 10s, including an eighth-place finish last Sunday at the Bristol Motor Speedway.

LONG SHOT

Aric Almirola (+7500)

After placing 20th at Alsco Uniforms 500, Almirola performed worse at the Food City Supermarket Heroes 500 last Sunday, settling for just a 29th place finish. Not many consider Almirola to be a threat after that pair of mediocre showings, but he could be on the upswing soon. He finished 13th and eighth in his last two appearances in Atlanta in 2018, and 2019, respectively.
