Sports Chat Place

Expert Pick
Randy Chambers Kurt Busch

Randy Chambers of Sports Chat Place listed four drivers to watch out for in Bristol, and while he didn’t name his pick to win the race, it was obvious that he was merely beating around the busch. On top of his list is Kurt Busch, who could have put up a house inside the Bristol Motor Speedway, considering his run of success at the track. Busch is a four-time winner of the Food City 500 and also topped the field the last time he raced in Bristol, winning the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race last year.

Bristol Motor Speedway

Expert Pick
Kenny Bruce Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch

Kenny Bruce of Bristol Motor Speedway can’t make up his mind who between the Busch brothers he thinks will win the race, but he’s very much convinced that it’s going to be one of them. Bruce is aware that Kyle Busch has crashed out in four of his last four races in Bristol and that Kurt Busch failed to finish inside the top 20 in three of his four starts in Bristol prior to winning there last August, but the writer also knows that the brothers’ level of consistency in Bristol is unmatched.

WSN – World Sports Network

Expert Pick
WSN Kyle Busch

For WSN, it’s another Busch, who will take home the win from Bristol. Noting Kyle Busch’s impressive resume in Bristol, WSN is naming him the favorite to get the top spot on the podium. While his older brother has more Food City 500 wins, Busch isn’t too shabby with three wins in the same event, with the last time happening in 2018. He also won the 2017 Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race.

TopBet – Ryan Simpson

Expert Pick
Ryan Simpson Denny Hamlin

For our resident NASCAR writer, Ryan Simpson thinks that Denny Hamlin is going to follow up his win in Texas last week with another. Hamlin could still be hot, as he’s been having quite a stretch. He has finished inside the top five in each of this last four races. He has two wins on the season, including a victory at the Daytona 500. He has a win, seven top fives, and 12 top 10s in 27 career races in Bristol.
