The Ohio State Buckeyes are 4-1 straight up and against the spread (ATS) over the last five games with the Penn State Nittany Lions, but if you recall, Penn State took a surprise win over the Ohio State last year on their way to the Big Ten championship. The Buckeyes will be looking for sweet revenge, and in a meeting at the Horseshoe that just may decide a division title. This will be a highly contested match, so be sure to register to bet and wager with your pick between these two powerhouses.

Betting on the Penn State Nittany Lions 7-0 (+6.5)
After a great season last year finishing with an appearance in the Rose Bowl the expectations were sky high for this Penn State squad this year, and so far they have lived up to the expectations. They come into this game with a perfect record, and last weekend they had their most impressive win of the season. They played a Michigan Wolverines team that is known for a great defense.
When it was all said and done though the Nittany Lions had put up 42 points against them on the way to a 42-13 win, and that helped move them up in the polls.
The star of this team is junior running back Saquon Barkley who has been electric this year. He comes into this game having ran for 757 yards and eight touchdowns.
He also has 448 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
If they are going to pull the upset in this game, the offense is going to need to go through
Barkley. They are going to need him to have a huge game and run all over the Buckeyes defense.
Betting on the Ohio State Buckeyes 6-1 (-6.5)
On the other side of this match up is the Ohio State Buckeyes who have played really well since their loss against the Oklahoma Sooners, but none of those games have really tested them.
They have played some teams that are really struggling like Nebraska and Rutgers. The offense has been flowing well, and the defense has been even better, but this is the week that everything will be tested. The Buckeyes are led by quarterback J.T. Barrett who started off slow this season, but has been playing much better as of late.
He comes into this game having thrown for 1827 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also has thrown only one interception this year. To win this game the defense needs to step up. Penn State has made good defenses look terrible, and if the Buckeyes want to win this game, that can’t be the case. The one thing they really don’t want to happen is for this game to get into a shootout.
Writer’s Prediction
I think Penn State and their offense will do what they have done all year, dominate teams and that will lead to a victory and put them one step closer to a berth in the playoffs. Pick: Penn State (+6.5)
